About Fernwood Arts

Since 1996 we, at Fernwood Arts, have been working hard to bring the beauty of New England to life on our earthenware products, as well as in murals done in both  business and residential settings.  In addition to painting on earthenware and painting murals, we also specialize in painting on furniture and glassware.  We are a small family run business that is not afraid to tackle any job.

About Our Products

At Fernwood Arts we purchase only high quality earthenware.  Once the earthenware passes our inspection, we paint each piece with exquisite detail to make each piece a true work of art.  We are proud to be able to offer a large selection of earthenware as well as a large variety of paint designs to choose from.  Once painted, our earthenware is glazed with a food safe glaze, then fired to temperatures of 1,850° F.  We strive to create art that is both beautiful and functional.  All of our earthenware is oven safe and dishwasher safe.  This is art that is designed to be used and enjoyed on a regular basis.  We welcome custom work and personalization is available.

About the Artist

Beth is a self taught artist that has lived in Vermont her whole life.  Having grown up on  the beautiful hills of Huntington and later the shores of Lake Champlain her inspirations come from these  beautiful New England landscapes.  Beth currently lives in Colchester Vermont with her husband Jim and their  two cats. While not painting, Beth enjoys entertaining friends as well as hiking,  traveling and most of all spending time at home with her niece Naomi playing in the garden.
