Beth E. McDowell Artist and founder of Fernwood Arts
Born and raised in Vermont I have always had a love for nature and all things crafty. I started Fernwood Arts over 30 years ago as a way of sharing my love of art with others. Over the years my focus has shifted from mural painting to hand painted earthen ware and currently as a silversmith and jewelry artist and so much more. I strive for a natural organic look with a little bling thrown in. I am an avid upcycler and most of my art pieces are made by giving old items a new life.
I currently live in Colchester with my wonderful husband Jim and our fiesty feline friend Tuesday.

Also born and raised in Vermont by the same wonderful parents - Mary is my big sister! I am proud to be able to add my sisters art work to the Fernwood Arts Collection. Mary has always loved the beach and uses beach stones in much of her work. While very busy as an office manager for an air mechanical contractor she enjoys taking time to create amazing works of art that you can wear.
Also living in Colchester Mary lives with her husband Fred and her cats Midnight and Sam.
